The Villa Maricel Owners Group is a private, non-profit syndicate whose members jointly own a waterfront villa with five bedrooms each with its own bathrooms, two living rooms, heated indoor/outdoor swimming pool,  gym / cinema / games room, and an extensive garden with another heated pool and terraces overlooking one of the best yacht clubs marinas in the region. Group members have all the facilities of a large and truly luxurious permanent private home, for less than the cost of buying a small apartment. The eight equal partners may use it at times of their own choice for over 6 weeks a year. They have total control over all aspects of its use and management. A new car in the garage and a speedboat at the bottom of the garden will be added as soon as members agree on the specification desired.

Although its members share usage and costs, the "Villa Maricel Group" is emphatically neither a timeshare organisation or a commercial "fractional ownership" development, though it has the advantages but none of the disadvantages of the latter. The current owners do not need full-time availability of the property but are reluctant to part with it, and so are looking for partners to join them in sharing ownership and use of it. Appropriately for a marina residence, it was built it to incorporate design, technical and construction standards found on super-yachts. Under the group arrangement, the eight syndicate members jointly own 100% of the equity in the property, and have total control over it. This control is exercised via a comprehensive Members’ Agreement, which maximises the benefits of ownership of the property solely for them.

Villa Maricel is one of the largest villas in the Balearic Islands with direct Marina access. It is in a unique location for a sailing enthusiast who likes the comforts of home, while having ample for a nearby game of golf in Mallorca's "Golf City".
